Sofa Beds

  • The mattress should be rotated monthly
  • Do not move the sofa while the bed is open as this may cause the mechanism to be pulled out of alignment
  • Don’t close the bed with any sheets/pillows/blankets inside
  • Do not sit or stand on the head or foot of the bed

Timber Finishes

  • Clean with a soft clean cloth
  • Protect surface when placing hot items onto the surface
  • Avoid spilling nail polish remover, solvent or alcohol as this may stain the surface

Croc Locs

Croc Locs

  • Croc locs are to prevent modular pieces from moving apart and sliding around on timber floors.
  • Simply attach and align the respective components on the underside of the sofa.
  • The Croc Loc has powerful sprung jaws that firmly lock together to prevent your furniture from yawning apart.
  • Simply lift the male joint to separate the units. This simple yet effective item is great in reducing scratched floors from slipping furniture.
  • Croc locks do not come standard with all purchases, please check with your retailer when purchasing.

Residential Warranty

You’ve received your Molmic sofa, which means your warranty is instantly valid!

To provide further peace of mind, Molmic upholstered furniture is warranted for 10 Years. Molmic Warranty specifically applies to frame construction, seat suspension and support ensuring against manufacturing and component defect where furniture has been used and maintained as designed and intended in accordance with our Sofa Care Guide.

Warranty Details
10 Year Structural Warranty on frame construction and component for Residential application (Note: This excludes timber plinth and legs if damaged during transit, dragged or dropped).

12 Month Workmanship Warranty applies to sewing and upholstery.

10 Year Warranty on high foam content seat cushion.

5 Year Warranty on high feather and fibre blend seat cushion (please refer to plumping your feather cushions as lack of maintenance is not covered under warranty).

Fabric and Leather – External supplier warranty applies
Molmic works closely with all fabric and leather suppliers to provide best quality for application on Molmic designs. In the event of fabric or leather defect Molmic will make every effort to support positive consumer outcome where fabric or leather has been used in accordance with relevant care instructions and performance ratings.
Molmic do not warrant COF Customer Own Fabrics you will need to contact your fabric supplier.

Metal Legs – External supplier warranty

Swivel Bases – External supplier warranty

Sofa Bed Mechanism – 12 month External supplier warranty
Products used in commercial, rental trade, institutional or non-residential use are not covered by this warranty.

Transport and Service Charges
In the event of a claim Molmic Warranty covers cost of repair or replacement including associated transport or freight costs for valid claims.

Australian Consumer Law
Our goods come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under Australian Consumer Law. Please refer to the ACCC website for further information, accc.com.au.

Residential Warranty

Follow these steps in the event you need to make a warranty claim:
To lodge a claim, simply visit our website molmic.com.au to download a claim form; alternatively, email us at aftersales@molmic.com.au and request a claim form. Complete the claim form and please ensure you enter the serial S-number easily found on the product label under your seat or on the base. If this number is not found enter N/A. Return the completed claim form to aftersales@molmic.com.au with accompanying photographs of the affected area/s.

Please note:

  • All requested information is required for your claim to proceed.
  • Warranty claims are only valid to the original purchaser.
  • We remind customers that softening of seat fillings between 10% and 30% will occur with use. This is not to be considered a warranty claim and falls within industry standards.
  • Molmic After Sales team will contact you within 48 business hours of receiving your claim.

Response:

  • A Molmic representative will be arranged to inspect product.
  • Your Retailer or Trade Designer, from whom you purchased your Molmic furniture, will be contacted where product needs to be returned to Molmic.
  • Your Retailer or Trade Designer, from whom you purchased your Molmic furniture, will be contacted if alternative action is required.
  • Depending on warranty claim, you will be advised of next actions.
  • We endeavour to repair product on site where possible.
  • Where product cannot be remedied on site, Molmic will require return to factory for suitable repair.
  • If a claim is not covered under Molmic Warranty, Molmic will make every endeavour to provide suitable advise or available options.

Please note: If product is deemed damaged by use and not the result of manufacturing defect, then repair and freight charges will apply.
